Resources for Parents
1. Here are two FREE resources to help parents navigate fear and anxiety in the lives of their teens and kids.
Our friends at Ministry to Parents put this together. It's designed for you to send to the parents in your ministry. In these uncertain times, it will be a really helpful tool.
Although not specifically created for the COVID-19 pandemic, everything included is spot on for the situation we're all facing.
The cheat sheets help parents navigate students/kids through four kinds of fear: physical, emotional, spiritual & mental.
2. I've been on the hunt for some great options to have a daily devotional time with your kids! If you need any of these printed out, please let me know! You can follow them through the links below as well.
3.From PCUSA: We understand the difficulties facing individuals, leaders, and congregations right now and hope to provide you with resources to help ease that burden. We've worked with our publisher friends to gather these resources. Please feel free to share this email with all who will find use from it. If it's easier to share through social media, a link to this email will be posted on our Facebook and page.
Each week we'll be providing in our emails and on our Facebook page a free story with corresponding activities and a pack of five coloring pages from the children's curriculum, Growing in Grace and Gratitude. This week's resources are the links below!
4. Amazon Audible: For as long as schools are closed, we're open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.
All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.
Explore the collection, select a title and start listening.
It's that easy.
5. Below is a list of all the different sites where you can teach your children from home during this time. Lots of great resources!
